Tall Barriers!

These are my first painted pieces of 3d printed terrain to come off my new 3d printer, and I'm impressed with how they turned out.

Ruined Scatter Terrain

Here are a couple sets of fieldstone and chipped stone scatter terrain. The bases are not made to fit together like my puzzle sets. The bases are made smaller, so there will be more pieces associated with the sets.

Destroyed Fantasy Ruined Puzzle

Here was my second attempt at a ruined fantasy building using wooden beams. I will have another version of this coming out soon, and hopefully will be happy enough with it to put it on Etsy.

Destroyed Bunker Puzzle

One more Destroyed Bunker Puzzle!

Sci Fi Ruined Chipped Stone Plate

I'm trying to catch up this blog, as I have been rather busy with both orders and family emergencies since November.

Here is a "Last of Us' type Chipped Stone ruin.

New Objective Markers!

These are my new Objective Marker sets. They consist of nine 4x4 inch pieces with random boxes, barrels and the debris of a sci fi setting. Each piece has one or two numbers airbrush stenciled onto a box or barrel for easy indication of which objective it is.

Ruined Fieldstone Puzzle

Another finished Ruined Fieldstone Puzzle.

Space Wolf Flavor Ruined City Block

This is WIP Ruined City Block with a Space Wolf theme. It is going to also get a dusting of snow to go along with all this detail. It features a Space Wolf logo on a building corner painted freehand by my fiance, who I am for sure going to get to do more!

Finished Imperial Armory

This is an elongated bunker with a custom access door. It has two lift-off roof sections for access to the interior. It is surrounded by a modular barrier system, and all the crate and barrel stacks are modular.
The interior is detailed with Spartan Scenics armory pieces.
The Armory has been painted with both brush and airbrush using acrylic paints, and was built using molds from hirstarts.com.

Price Increases

Many of my frequent customers will surely notice the prices on my terrain have gone up significantly. This is, unfortunately, something that should have been done either more incrementally or a long time ago.

I've come to this decision through mutual discussion with other crafters of terrain, as well as a study of material and time costs associated specifically with how long my pieces take to make. These price changes also reflect the fact that my skills and materials have grown; ie more airbrushing per piece, using 3d printed, MDF, and more Hirst Arts parts, more time put into each piece due to having rubble/rock cover on the entire piece as opposed to just using flock, etc etc.

I know this will lose me customers. I know this does make my terrain expensive. But this is also art, and each piece is one of a kind. It also means that I will no longer make below minimum wage per piece of terrain. Which also means I will feel better about continuing to learn and grow in this industry, instead of deciding to put it aside to try to pursue something that will better support my family.

Thank you all for your support!

Fantasy Ruined City Block

Finished this and sent it out last month. This is my Ruined City Block, but done in a fantasy setting instead of sci fi. The walls are large boards and stucco. Many of the details are from Hirst Arts molds.

Painting is mostly airbrush, with basecoats with rattle cans and brush.
